Absolutely terrible service, would not recommend to anyone. We paid for an upgrade to an existing open fireplace and the standard of work was not acceptable. We now have a lid that wont close properly, slate inserts that aren't secure in place, unsightly gaps at the bottom of the cast iron surround, a rectangle scored into the slate hearth and a grate that is not what we ordered meaning we cant use it until we have the correct one. The fret we ordered and paid for has never been delivered. They took away our old grate and ashpan without asking (we had intention of passing it onto someone else). There has also been an almighty mess left on the street outside our front door where they did all their cutting etc. We tried calling several times and were always told "we will call you back",......needless to say that has never happened. I have written to them and emailed them, still no response. I have tried to upload photos to show what a terrible job they have done. I paid in full for the materials on 31.1.12 and have been told the fret was not in stock by the time they did the work on 2.3.12 but they would get in touch as soon as it was in.........still waiting. More frustrating thing is we could have bought the fret from an ironmonger in Perth who have it in stock but gave this company our custom instead. The level of customer service is atrocious.......it seems to me like they have their money and are not interested in fixing the mess they have made. Trading standards and Watchdog are now involved. In all seriousness, keep clear, this company are a MEGA headache and really dont care about their customers.
