I'm looking forward to working with the Arran Gin Co. They share our philosophy of taking a well loved classic and breathing new life into it by adding fresh local produce and a modern twist. We will be hosting a tasting session on the 4th of August when we will be pairing gin mixes with great food while Stuart gives you the lowdown on a modern classic.
Looking for something to do today? Here is a sneak preview of part of "The Coig". Modelled on the NC500 it's five routes for one adventure, broken into manageable pieces. You can start and finish anywhere but clearly Largs is the natural highlight. ❤️ I'm not alone in thinking that The Green Shutters has the best position in Largs so are we the jewel in The Coig? We were delighted to hear that John Watson has been awarded the accolade of Master Fishmonger and is in fact the first in Scotland to have earned the title. Our decision to review our suppliers has been a fascinating experience that I'm sure our customers appreciate. Very well done John I'm certain that all of those exams and stress you put yourself through, will be well worth it. It is a fine achievement to add to your 45 years experience.
