CLOSING TOMORROW
I just wanted to put on a wee message to say thanks to you all for your custom, friendship and support over the last six years since I started at Greenbrae - all in all it's not been a bad place to work really and time has flown! The doors will officially close when I finish tomorrow but I'm sure if you urgently need anything you'll be able to track Neil down (however if you haven't realised already he really doesn't do Facebook so there's little to no chance of getting a hold of him on here!).

🔥 After a very successful 11 years running Greenbrae Stoves I have decided the time is right for me to close the business down to pursue other options. We have been blessed with a lot of loyal customers and friends over the years and we felt this would be the best way for the news to come direct from us.
🔥 The good news for you is we still have some stoves in stock so it’s the right time to get a bargain - our closing down sal...e is starting NOW! We are unable to take on any new installations however we do have some excellent offers for supply only of stoves and accessories.
🔥 All manufacturer warranties will of course remain valid for all existing and new stoves.
🔥 Our opening hours for the next few weeks will still be Tuesday – Friday 9:30am – 5pm, although if travelling any distance please phone first as we may be a bit short staffed at times.
🔥 I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their custom as well as our staff for their dedicated service - I’m sure you will join me in wishing Darren, Michelle, Connor and Angela all the best in their future endeavours.

You probably won’t be using your woodburner as much once the warmer weather arrives, so here are some tips on bedding your stove down for summer (it will come!):
🔥 Clean it - give your stove a good clean before you give it a rest for the summer. Ashes can be corrosive if allowed to sit so get rid before your stove is out of use for a while
🔥 Get your chimney swept - remove corrosive soot and creosote from the system and ensure that your stove is ready for action as soon as t...he temperatures drop
🔥 Check for rust - if there are any signs of rust, it won’t get any better with time so use a bit of wire wool and some stove paint to have your appliance looking as good as new
🔥 Check your parts - things to look for include gaps between the panels, a warped or damaged grate, holes in the baffle, cracked glass and damaged rope
🔥 Leave the door ajar - this ensures air flow and ventilation to the stove system, which helps to prevent corrosion whilst not using during summer months

❄️ It felt like winter again today, our stoves have been working hard in the showroom 🔥 Although I've been quiet on here the last couple of months the boys have kept busy with installations - here are some they've completed recently ...

🎄 The showroom will close at 12 noon this Friday for the festive break and will reopen at 9:30am on Tuesday 8th January 2019. We would like to wish all our customers a Merry Christmas and hope you have a fun filled new year 🎄
