Greens At Gretna Hotel

My husband has a dietary restriction, the staff and manager could not do enough to help us and after explaining my husband's condition the restaurant turned out an exceptional meal. We'll definitely be here again and will recommend it to friends and family. 😁😁😁

Location very central good for all areas at Gretna and the rooms are very comfortable food good and very friendly staff.

Attended a wedding here over two days. First the bad: the beds were horrific and I had a really poor sleep both nights. They are large beds - at least in room 200 - but somehow both lumpy and too hard. The room overall was a little dated and the shower/bath wasn't great: but it least the room size was fine. I only have good things to say about the staff, who were helpful and very polite for my entire stay. We ate at the restaurant for breakfast and dinners: again, only good things to say. Breakfast is a self serve affair but was very good. Dinner was exceptional, if a little pricey. So overall a bit of a mixed bag.

We got a deal for dinner, bed and breakfast on living social for this hotel, the hotel was spotless, rooms are spacious and the staff were friendly. If you required more tea bags for normal tea you just asked and they gave you more. In the deal we got the dinner included 2 course I had the steak which was cooked to the way you liked it this came with a mushroom and chips, I had chocolate cake and ice cream for my pudding which was nice. My boyfriend had potato skins to start with which was just enough and macaroni cheese with garlic bread and chips but does come with the option of salad. After dinner you can sit in the nice relaxed bar area and chill out. The breakfast is buffet style and self service, you have to make your own tea and coffee and toast.

Great value hotel. Flew in to Edinburgh from Canada and stayed here en route to Birmingham. I chose it for proximity to M74 and the outlet mall. Turned out to be a great place to stop. Room had loads of space and was very comfortable and quiet. Just what we needed feeling jet lagged. Breakfast was great. So close to the Gretna Gateway Outlet Mall as well, really enjoyed stopping here and would stay here again.

Went to get married in the water gardens. Lovely location and staff were very friendly and professional. Had a great day and would recommend it to anyone. Just a shame the sun didn't want to come out!

I loved the entrance and bar area as soon as I walked in. The rooms were great with friendly and helpful staff giving me a pleasant stay. Nice food and a nice hotel.

Had our wedding in Gretna. We stayed at the greens and had our wedding meal there too. The place is beautifully decorated, clean and relaxed. The staff were very helpful and polite. The wedding meal was fantastic and good portions. Would definitely recommend. Lovely place. Thank you

Sister got married there. A fight from another wedding broke out some guy beaten a girl and from the time we phoned to reception to someone coming 1and a half hours . 3 management staff on the following day no answer as to why we were kept up all night. lost a day holiday . Anyway the food was wrong and poor for a wedding. Toby carvery would serve the same . I will say it is child friendly and the breakfast food is good fresh and lots of . Front doors are a mess and management not the regular staff need changing.
