Intelligent Instructor is a publication for the driver training industry. They have an annual awards ceremony, a bit like the Oscars, only for people like me. If you think I am worthy of an award you can make a nomination on the link below.

People need to realise that case numbers are going to keep going up for the next 10 days in spite of the lockdown, because of spread that has already happened. We need to guard against people starting to think the lockdown is not working while this happens. It takes at least a week for lockdown to start reducing the rate of rise. Can we copy & paste please. #covid19 - stay at home please.

It’s with a very heavy heart that I need to make this announcement. Greer’s Gears has now closed for the next few months due to corona virus.
It’s not the decision that I want to take but pressures of having test centres closed, pupils looking to reschedule lessons and the most impactive element of social distancing - which is impossible in an enclosed car environment. I am left with little choice.
These are scary times for self employed people. Please be patient because ...it will pass and hopefully we see the other side soon.
In the meantime look out for each other. If needed be a patient patient and if you are stuck needing shopping, lifts etc then don’t hesitate to shout. I’ll be volunteering for the emergency hubs, transport links so I might still have the chance to see you on the rounds.

UPDATE:
Theory Test Centres are now closed for the next 4 weeks. No theory’s tests will be conducted until 20th April 2020.
Highly likely that all practical driving test centres will continue to be closed next week. I think Gov. uk are phasing in a complete lockdown. Those tests that were scheduled for either yesterday or today are now being pushed back into June / July.
