Lovely place, close to the market street and just a wee distance from the beach. Staff are extremely friendly and nice.

Met friends over from the US here and they wanted to try real Scottish food. Waitress was amazing, very friendly and suggested places to visit and foods to try whilst over here.
Menu was good, reasonably priced and lovely food. Nice atmosphere.

Had steak pie and chips with veg. It was quite tasty, but the veg was too hard, could have used another 5 minutes. Good service and a nice place.

Was in town on vacation (from the US). Went in for a bite to eat with my family. We all had the Steak and Ale pie. It was phenomenal, gravy was delicious, meat was flavorful and tender. The pastry was like eating a butter, flaky cloud. In addition to that, prices were fair and service was great. Clean restaurant. Will definitely go back the next time I hit the UK.

Very fast service, lovely food. Very polite staff. Would have given 5 stars, but we were left waiting for a long time after finishing our mains, nobody came to ask if we wanted more drinks, or dessert. We left without. Otherwise great place to visit.

Booked 18 Golfers for a meal on both Friday & Sat in April. Comprehensive menu gave everyone a good choice and the food was excellent. Service good. Even asking for separate Drinks bills for groups of us didn't seem to cause any problem.

Food was a good price but didn't get a lot for your money with the steak. Burger was good and the fish and chips were amazing.

Rooms are clean enough but a bit shabby. The bar is top notch though. Breakfast was the best I've had in a long time. All the staff were great.
