it was lovely to see gona read up on the book n watch the film enjoyed my stay in Edinburgh will be coming again :-)

Very sweet story of devotion of a dog to its owner which became legendary. Statue with a pub of the same name. Very busy but with the walk to see. Told touching his nose brings good luck but appears to be damaging the statue.
The story and devotion is a pull on the heartstrings
The statue is cute its what you would expect. in fact its so cute everyone rubs the nose of this little terrier. Its just a joy to watch for five mins and see all tourists smile at this super tourist attraction of Edinburgh. Everyone Loves the story of Greyfriars Bobby.

Saw a movie about him when i was a child, my grandparents visited here in 1974 and sent me back a postcard finally after all these years i have come to visit him.
Nice for dog-lovers to visit.
