When ever I'm in Bridport I always visit Groves. The staff are all great and a good pot of tea
We had a family brunch at the new Groves restaurant on Sunday. What a beautiful garden centre and fab setting. The food was hot and freshly cooked. Service was friendly and efficient. We are locals and will be visiting on a regular basis. Well done Groves. Very doggy friendly and great that dogs are welcomed in all the outside areas of the garden centre and restaurant.
We attended the Ivy restaurants first evening function as members of west Dorset and Bridport indoor bowls club. The three course meal was excellent and the staff were friendly and very efficient. Considering they were serving between 50 and 60 people it was very well organised.
After all the negative comments they deserve a positive one WELL DONE a very enjoyable evening.
Thank you little groves for such a lovely Xmas tree, we have had so many compliments, it’s beautiful, a really perfect shaped tree.
Simply the best garden centre I've ever been too! It actually concentrates on selling plants for gardens......and all the extras you may need. Fantastic place.
Myself and the family visited Groves Nurseries over the weekend, and we were very impressed with the range of stock and fantastic quality of plants. We also had lunch in their restaurant and this too was equally brilliant. The standard of food was amazing, generous portions, and the prices were very good for what is provided and the staff throughout were very helpful and polite, providing allround excellent service. I will certainly be going there again, and I highly recommend this nursery.
Great place for breakfast or lunch, a shop, then walk home and have it all delivered by more of their smiling staff! 🐲🐲🐲
Great morning coffee, lunch and afternoon tea. Also bought a few plants an another rose to add to my other 23

Extensive gardens centre at south side of town. Great cafe offering home made food. Minor home brew centre also.
Always helpful staff and a joy to wander around ! Got some lovely blue pots which l liked so much l had to go back and buy more !
Always a great and interesting place to visit, the only place I know to sell a plant (a delicate pink violet) with the same rare name as my grand-daughter 'Thirza'
!lovely, family to work wit :-) and Becky and the a team are some of the nicest people you could ever have the pleasure of work in with ,:-) thanx guys x
The Nursery is good - I bought Apples yesterday , several Kilos , and the service was awful- he only had 2 Knifes for apple tasting, wanted me to try an Apple with only a bit of chore on it plus his Fingers - not very good !! I still spend almost £10 , not good !!
Nice Garden Centre with tat old fashion feel, had to wait a while for food in the Café (25 mins for a Ploughman's and a Pinnae) but was fairly busy
Good garden center and lovely new cafe but we were not offered a menu and the boards behind the counter did not tell you enough about what food was on offer. Toilets really need updating
A good place to stop off for a coffee break on our way to and from Cornwall and bought some lovely Chrostmas presents as well.
We used the new cafe/restaurant yesterday for the first time. Nice building but what has happened to the food??? Loads of burgers but no specials or soups like in the old cafe, why not?? The meals were the attraction for us but now your cafe is just like any other fast food outlet, if I wanted a burger I would go to Mcdonalds. Shame...your chefs are better than that.!@@
Good little garden centre. Shame it was let down by staff at the cafe allowing us to buy lunch while stood with the dog to then be refused to sit down with him. If we were told before we wouldn’t have bought lunch there as it was a cold day and unfair to leave him outside.
