Sooo... we are delighted with the amount raised at this mornings BIG SCOTTISH BREAKFAST @ GRÜM’d in aid of the STV CHILDRENS APPEAL. In total with donations and raffle money we raised £222.42 . We would like to thank everyone who helped especially Geraldine and Avril your help was much appreciated indeed and the ladies at keptie who donated some breakfast goodies for us and everyone who handed in raffle prizes. The raffle has been drawn and we will notify the winners to pick up their prizes. Very successful morning for a very worthy cause. Thank you all for taking part. Marie and Linda xxx❤️💚

💫Come along this morning between 8.30-11.30☀️ and help us try to raise as much as possible to support children affected by poverty in Scotland. 220,000 children are currently living in poverty in Scotland. That’s 1 child in 4 who is missing out on simple things we all take for granted – like having breakfast. STV Children’s Appeal has set up the Big Scottish Breakfast to help Scottish children get a good start to the day and the best start in life. Another way to support this cause is to TEXT TO DONATE ..text 'STVA17 5" TO 70070. 😁

Our friend Geraldine was diagnosed with breast cancer last April and now during her recovery she would like to raise money for the worthy causes who helped her throughout her treatment, we decided upon a 24 hour cut-athon to kick start her fundraising. The charities are MAGGIES , LOOK GOOD FEEL BETTER and DAY WARD 32 NINEWELLS. All money raised throughout the 24 hours will go directly to these causes. Marie and Linda will be in GRÜM'd starting 12 noon to get cutting and the money received will be donated to the charity as well as that we will have raffles etc too. Please come along and support Geraldine to raise as much money as possible even if it is just to pop in with a donation we will be happy to see you all. Haircuts can be pre booked or you can walk in .. Let's do what we can .. �

Well what an experience I had at GRUM'd today. As always I had a fantastic haircut from Linda Cook, no worries there.



I then decided to go for a hot shave. I was getting all wrapped up in hot towels when I realised the Sweeney Todd theme to the place. It was round about the time that I noticed the trap door under my chair that Marie Church ran over to restrain me!



I'm pleased to report that I left the shop all in one piece sporting a braw haircut and nice close shave.



Great service and cracking banter. If you haven't been before I thoroughly recommend it but beware of the trap door!



A big thanks to Cutthroat Cook for the haircut and shave.

Took me a couple of years to find a hairdresser I was happy with after my previous one moved away..Always absolutely delighted with my style and colour from Marie...and the banter is just an added bonus! wouldn't get my hair done anywhere else.

Marie styled my hair perfectly the way I wanted it. Loving the style of the shop and can't wait to come back!

Marie has been cutting and colouring my hair for years and I've always trusted her advice. Linda and Marie, you guys are fabulous and professional and this new venture will be sooooooo successful! Looking forward to seeing you in the new shop soon. Brechin won't know what's hit it. Good luck to you both xxx

Linda has been doing my hair for 20+ years now, first class hairdresser and does,nt give herself enough credit fot the fantastic job she does..... Always very accommodating, cant praise her enough... (anyone who knows me will no how perticular i am with my hair )...Gr8 job Gr8 banter, god help me if she ever retires,...glad all is going well in in the shop, u deserve every success life throws at u linda..... Thanx again,x x

Just had my 21 months twin boys hair cut by Linda made appointment so no hanging about waiting to be taken both sat well good hair cuts well done Linda and we will b back x

I received 5* treatment today at Grum'd, 3 High Street, Brechin from the lovely Linda. It was very relaxing and I had a fantastic consultation carried out and throughout my colouring service. Linda is very approachable and easy to speak to, taking all comments into consideration. I am loving my hair I'll be back. They offer a wide range of ladies and gents treatments/services at affordable prices! Give them a visit you won't regret it!!

I have been going to Marie for years now and she has always had the time and patient's and knows what to do for the best with my hair being so thick and frizzy and what suits me better, she is a fantastic hairdresser and I'll never go elsewhere now good luck with your new adventure xx

Got an appointment on very short notice to get my badly put in hair extensions taken out and wow what a job they both done on my hair, lovely people with amazing talent! Would 100% recommend to anyone wanting their hair done at a high standard!

Gone to Marie for years, love the new shop. Great atmosphere with Marie and Linda, took my daughter with me and kids are very welcome. Highly recommend.

Fantastic salon, lovely ladies, so chatty and friendly and make you feel so welcome. Lovely with kids too :) beautifully decorated and stylish interior, great prices too :)
