Haar Architects

After ten years of practice we thought it was the right time for a refresh, both for the (nearly finished) studio and for our brand. Having spent the last 21 years living on the beautiful east coast of Scotland and the last 12 in Portobello our new name had to be something associated with where we are at.
HAAR references our contextually appropriate approach to architecture, and the name is rooted in the east coast of Scotland.
We believe in authenticity of form and materia...ls and choosing a name grounded in where we live and work helps to substantiate that.
We will rename this @a449ltd feed ahead of our relaunch exhibition and party in January so please jump over to @herewehaar and keep an eye out for an invite. Thank you to all our clients and followers and here’s to the next phase of our practice.
