I would like to thank the incredible care i recieved from consultant cardiologist Dr Alaistair Pell and all his nursing staff including doctor Imran in the catherisation lab, not just on this occasion but on many visits..previously...over the last 11 years so grateful.

I have been reading many reviews here and it seems that people are complaining about petty things when in fact the level of care if you have a severe or life threatening condition is as good as you will get. We can all hope for 5🌟but it's just not going to happen guys . Start by paying much more into this wonderful system if you want the trimmings. They just saved my life and I am back home....the rest is unimportant unless you are a whinger. Hairmyres Respect.....🦄

The staff on Ward 7 at Hairmyres were wonderful to both our mother and us as a family during her recent time with them. All staff treated her with dignity and the support they gave us during the few days she spent with them before passing away was exemplary.

I was in hairmyers hospital yesterday I got seen very very very quick the staff in a&e were very very good with me I got a ear and they gave me antibiotics to take for seven day it good job I went up to the hospital if I didnt my ear drum could have burst so the antibiotics will help that I need to see my GP again just to make sure my ear is a lot better we got a great NHS service I didn't need to wait long

A truly amazing team who looked after me with care compassion and humour and superb degree of professionalism from entrance at a@ e department to exit 4 days later after a broken hip.

Very good care from staff. Food is not recommended

Had an angiogram 2 months ago. Pain free procedure. Staff were fab! Explained everything, were very friendly and good humoured throughout. Going back in to have a stent installed in a few days. Previous experience leaves me quietly confident and relaxed about the procedure.

Been in twice in last 2.5 weeks first time was hopeless 2nd time on thursday nyt staff were great getting to c the orthopaedic staff in the morning n hopefully getting to the bottom of y keep getting swelling on arm after having a opp done in other hospital

I had my knee operated on at the day surgery there, and the care was 1st class. The hospital was clean, the staff were so friendly and the operation went very well. My surgeon was Doctor Alberto Gregory who was absolutely brilliant and my knee is on the road to normal function. Also a special mention to one of the nurses - a Susan Shand who's care and friendly attitude towards myself and other patients was amazing. Thank you to all. Matthew Munday.

Unbelievable that this hospital has so-called "gardens" that are expanses of rounded rocks with locked doors. All the recent research says that access to nature is important and stress-reducing for patients and staff in a hospital setting. Presumably Hairmyres doesn't want the cost of maintaining a space that people would recognise and use as a garden,.
