Thanks for making our Hen night great fun, some places are over priced to book an area but hamishes gave us it for free ! the food was good, staff attentive and the DJ made sure we all had a great time at karaoke and a good boogie to any tunes we requested ! Would highly recommend for a party/ birthday celebrations / hen nights etc 👍🏻

Good food as always, we always stop off in Hamishes House every time we come up from Wales, the Haggis is always a hit and the kids meals are great value for money. I'm sure we'll be returning next time wer'e up too

Well, I guess I'll start from the beginning.

Staff were friendly and accommodating. Place seemed to have a nice atmosphere.

Then, shift changed happened.

We ordered a starter for two. It arrived and it turns out the 'garlic bread' its two bits of sliced Warburtons that had barely been threatened with a toaster one slice with butter and the other slice with cheese. Along with anaemic onion rings.

Rotten

I ordered the lasagne. With chips as I had garlic bread with starter (lol) turns up burnt with garlic bread. They then took it away with the waitress saying- 'can u not just keep the bread and I'll bring you out a portion of chips I can't keep it warm' - but how just not bring them on my plate and seeing us she was the fourth person to serve us - I didn't want them to get anymore confused.

On asking for the bill - another waiter (makes five) took away my full plate and I waited to see if he would ask why it was barely touched, he didn't so I informed him. He was quite defensive and said he took money off bill.

We got our two drinks taken off.

End of the day - it is what it is. Generic pub food - frozen food and grease, but even Wetherspoons know that warm sliced Warburtons does not a garlic bread make.

Yuk. Won't be back and to be honest.. They won't care. :)
