Harestanes Glass Studio

At Harestanes Art Glass & Craft Studio, you will discover a variety of beautifully handcrafted, unique gifts and art glass. From jewellery to homeware including: mirrors, clocks, bowls, platters, candle holders, wall art, & art for the garden. Handcrafted in traditional stained glass as well as contemporary kiln formed glass, commonly known as fused glass. The studio is based in the Craft Courtyard of Harestanes Countryside Visitor Centre in Ancrum, near Jedburgh, in the magnificent Scottish Borders. Established 2 April 2016, by owner Rachel Collins. The studio is a family concern, Rachel's daughter, Georgia has recently joined her in the business, taking over the stained glass side. Everything is unique and individually handcrafted in our studio, therefore we mainly sell directly to customers in our studio gallery at Harestanes. At present we do not sell online, however we do have a small concession in 'Why Not' in Galashiels, showcasing the variety of products we have available. Gift vouchers are available from £5 to £100, redeemable against any of our handcrafted products or workshops. Workshops are also available throughout the year, in both stained glass and fusing. We offer a personal bespoke service tailored to the needs of the individual, allowing you to learn on a one-to-one basis or in a small group.
