Harlow Rhodes (Permanently Closed)

Wouldn't recommend to go here for beauty treatments.The beautician doing it most probably wont even be qualified,I know this as I worked here and I'm pretty sure any clients figured out once the treatment was done,poor sods.

Although, you might be lucky.Your treatment may be done by a qualified beautician IF they manage to find someone off gumtree in time to come in and do the treatment (I had to do this many a time :( )

Hairdressing was okay actually. Well,when I was last there anyway but staff change frequently due to god awful management ( thats why there's never an in house beautician when you need one ) so who knows...I amnt an ex hairdresser with a grudge by the way.(I was a receptionist)

I recently visited Harlow Rhodes for a cut and colour with a living social voucher. I was a tad nervous as got a voucher in the past for another salon and didnt get the result I was after However! I was greatly impressd with the service and final product at Harlow Rhodes. The hairdresser I had whose name escapes me (:(apologies) was fantastic and made me feel at ease as soon and I sat down. She really seemed to know what she was talking about and immediatly understood what I was looking for. I look forward to my future appointments with her. Great Salon, Great location and Great staff.

Went to get my nails done for my Winter ball in December 2011, and took my little sister to get her hair tidied up as it grows really long really fast, they were really chatty to both myself and my sister and made her feel comfortable and helped her choose what style to go for. My nails were great (I got 'Calgel Nail Extension) and the girl that did them was again really chatty and friendly, they were really professionally done and I was so pleased, they looked great in the ball photos! Recommended to all my friends and they agreed with me, the pricing is just right and they were all really friendly, we've all left the salon very happy! :)

Went to Harlow Rhodes for a spray tan and Calgal nails for a wedding this summer. The moment I arrived I was given a glass of wine - which put me right at easy. The next thing was a quick chat about what colour/shade I wanted my tan. Being a tanning virgin I was a bit apprehensive about taking my kit off but the girl explained that she does so many a week and she sees all shapes and sizes!
The staff were positive and friendly, couldn't have been more helpful.
The tan was beautiful - a light gold rather than orange that sometimes happens with DIY tans and my nails were beautiful and rounded.
Over all top-notch.
