Harry Fairbairn Kirkcaldy Mini

Terrible service. Bought a 2nd hand car from them and as I was leaving the manager came out and said 'the service starts now, it doesn't end now'. Clearly a meaningless sentiment. Within 2 weeks the battery was dying, I thought it was an issue with the key initially. They looked at the key and said it's the type that doesn't have a battery so need to order a new one. I went home googled it and low and behold, I pop it open and there is a battery. They never once questioned the car battery itself in fact they were just fobbing me off. Shortly after the car battery died and yes, they did replace it, that is something I expect anyway. The car is 6 years old and has never had a new battery, they might have checked before selling it. The thing that has really riled me up though and is the trigger for me writing this is that the car did not come with a service book. The salesman assured me a new one was ordered and I would get it in 3 days or so... 2 MONTHS LATER!! I have been chasing him regularly, never takes my calls and never returns my messages (update - a year later and still no book despite further chasing, I took the car to Toyota and got one straight away in the end) It is simply disrespectful and downright rude to treat customers with such disregard. Nothing has gone well with the sale or aftercare with this car and I would not recommend using this garage. Once they have your money they couldn't give a stuff

Noticed a few bad reviews but they look nothing to do with the mini centre, my Hannah bought a Focus ST3 and it's been great. Best buying at a luxury dealership from now on, far better service.

Picked up my new Mini and not only was the car awesome, the service from this garage and the manager was outstanding. There was no pressure to purchase the vehicle while looking at cars and the sale people were helpful getting me into the car that was best suited to me instead of what car makes them the most commission.
On picking up my car the manager came away from his desk (after excusing himself from customers he was dealing with) to personally thank me for my custom. (Ive never had that before).
I will surely becoming back to this garage to purchase my next vehicle.

Would definitely recommend buying from this dealership.

First class from the sales staff during and after the sale. My wife pops in occasionally if she's unsure about anything inside the car and there is always someone there to help her out. Great to see with such a young team too.

Extremely competitive dealership in terms of price. The condition of the car was described accurately over the phone prior to me travelling (100+ miles) to see it.

Was pleasantly surprised with the trade in value for our old mini. Despite the John Cooper Works we were looking to buy being the cheapest in the UK at the time for the age/mileage/specification the trade in value/cost to change from our old mini was fair.

All in all worth the journey.
