Hastie Stable Description
The Hastie Stable of Advocates was founded in 1991 and currently comprises Members practising from the Advocates Library, Parliament House, Edinburgh. We aim to provide a quality, efficient and friendly service to Solicitors and others who instruct our Members, and to improve the service offered wherever possible.
We provide the highest standards of effective and reliable representation and advice in all areas of civil and criminal law, and at all levels of court or tribunal. Susan Hastie is a highly regarded Clerk with around 20 years’ experience. Our reputation has been built on being friendly, approachable and efficient. Susan Hastie and her Deputy Clerks welcome inquiries about Counsel’s experience and expertise. They are always happy to suggest individuals with knowledge of a particular field of work, to agree fees and time scales for work and to advise on what papers will require to be sent to Counsel. Alternatively, Advocates may be contacted individually and can return work by e-mail.
