Nice wee station, extremely clean!
Unlike most railway stations I know, there are no toilets on the "public" side of the ticket barriers. Worse still, be aware that the only toilets on site are on platform 4; presumably because most InterCity trains depart from this platform. There is also a coffee shop on this platform, with two more situated in the public foyer, along with a M&S. Once through the ticket barrier, a small booth sells papers/magazines.
The new referbushments are brilliant, elevators and bike racks are a nice addition
It's a beautiful station but very busy at peak times.. They could do with keeping it cleaner. Lots of litter inside and out.
Very good feel to this station friendly staff
Clean and the staff are know there stuff. However, it can be pretty busy during peak times. Don't expect much from the tea and coffee shops here as there small wee stalls that are a bit over priced. Plenty of places around the station if you need to wait on someone or on a regular you delayed/ canceled train.
Nice open space as you enter the station. Has been really well refurbished
Beautiful restoration a few years ago, offering much better facilities and accessibility. My local station for work!
Staff are incredibly rude. I asked one off the guys that wear the orange vest for direction etc and he laughed. I think the need a staff meetingđŸ˜‚ For some attitude problems . Laughable also the made me miss my train and I was left stranded and I already paid the money !! No helpful and very expensive .
Much improved since the refurbishment. A modern looking station with large plaza. Looks great from the outside too. Good information over the Public address system. Watch out at peak times, this station gets busy.
The staff were all very helpful, especially to someone completely new to the city. Assisted me with directions and were really friendly.
