PG Diploma in Clinical Education returns this September
THE Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Education course being presented by HC Skills in London on 26-27th of September, 2019 complies with the highest medical professional standards.
It maps directly to guidance for commissioners and providers of postgraduate medical education referenced by the General Medical Council via the Framework for the Professional Development of Postgraduate Medical Supervisors.
... The GMC’s Generic Standards for Training require that trainers with additional designated educational roles must demonstrate ability as effective trainers.
There are increasing calls for the accreditation and professional development of supervisors in postgraduate medical education.
However, there has been little guidance on the competencies or training required of postgraduate medical supervisors and in March 2009, the Academy of Medical Educators was commissioned by UK Departments of Health to help define training requirements.
