One Stage Paint Enhancement Package - (Indoors only) taking up to 2 days to complete.

What: The paint surface is first thoroughly cleansed and decontaminated - a paramount step prior to machine polishing using specially selected liquid abrasives, this is often the step that takes the longest to complete. The Enhancement package is designed to correct minor paint defects (light surface imperfections) but it will vastly improve the appearance of the paint. The newly levelled surface is then protected with a premium synthetic polymer sealant lasting up to 6 months.

Who: As this package offers a one stage corrective step, depending on the severity of the paint, only light defects are polished out; in that sense, newer cars or well looked after cars will significantly benefit from this service. However regardless of the condition of your car, choosing this package will certainly return gloss and shine back into the paint; and for this reason it is common for clients to choose the enhancement package prior to selling their car for a quicker sale at a price closer to the top end of the scale.

Why: Surface defects such as swirl marks, scratches, micro marring and holograms produces paint that will look dull and lifeless. By permanently polishing out these surface defects, surface gloss and shine are restored for that ‘new look’ feel. The Enhancement package is therefore ideal for someone buying or selling a used car or for someone who would like to completely remove light surface imperfections from their car.

Where: We offer this as a mobile detailing service and will require access to water and power. In order to carry out any paint correction, we prefer to work indoors where there is enough space for access around the vehicle. Please note that once your car is cleaned, it will need to remain indoors for the paint correction stage until it is fully completed.

Two Stage Major Paint Correction Package - (Indoors only) taking up to 3 days to complete.

What: The paint surface is first thoroughly cleansed, decontaminated and the paint thickness assessed - a paramount step prior to machine polishing using specially selected liquid abrasives; this is often the step that takes the longest to complete. The aim is to remove as much surface imperfection as possible and in the progress returning your car to factory new conditions. The newly levelled surface is then protected with a premium synthetic polymer sealant lasting up to 6 months.

Who: As this package offers a 2 stage corrective step, more specifically a compounding step to level medium-deep surface defects followed by a refining step that helps to maximise surface gloss and clarity for that swirl-free / show room shine; The Major correction package is therefore ideal for someone who would like to completely remove heavy swirl marks and scratches although total paint thickness and defect severity are sometimes limiting factors.

Why: Surface defects such as swirl marks, scratches, micro marring and holograms produces paint that will look dull and lifeless. By permanently levelling these surface defects, surface gloss and shine are restored for that ‘new look’ feel.

Where: We offer this as a mobile detailing service and will require access to water and power. Porsche 718 Cayman S - New Car Enhancement Detail - Owner decided not to take up Porsche's offer of a protection package. instead opting for a soft and gentle wash and lightly decontaminated followed with two layers of Blackfire Sealant giving it that rich wet look which will protect it right through the Autumn to next year.

This nice Audi A3 was booked in for a single stage enhancement polish in Early May and as it was extremely well taken care of, only light surface swirl marks were observed.
After a thorough exterior safe wash, the entire body was De-ironed with Auto Finesse Iron Out, paying special attention to the front, rear and alloys as these are generally the worse affected areas. I was then told by the owner that he had layered many years worth of Blackfire Sealant but as with standard ...polishing protocol, de-waxing the body work is a must and this was done with Autosmart Tardis, which effectively dissolved the old sealant turning it into white residues. Alloy wheels were then cleaned with wheel woollies. Car was then dried with large microfiber towels. Deep crevices, exterior grills and alloys were blow dried with a Metro Air Force Blaster.
The entire car was then clay bar'd with detailing lube.
Onto paint correction now, a visual inspection was first carried out to assess for any deep scratches or severe paint defects that weren't visible before cleaning the car. Then paint thickness readings were recorded averaging to a healthy reading of 150um (excluding the front Bonnet). The thinnest part was probably the rear boot reading about 125um. The thickest was the front bonnet reading an average of 300um! this wasn't a surprise as I have been told it was resprayed before.
3M tape was used to tape off any trims that were in the way.
Since this was an enhancement package intended to abolish light swirls and bearing in mind that we are dealing with extremely hard paint (but easy to scratch I might add), we choose to use Meguiar's compounding polish m105 together with Hybrid orange foam pads; this was used on a Flex DA and proves to be a decent solution. The polishing was completed within 2 days with enough time to protect it with Blackfire Synthetic Sealant. Finishing touches included rain repellent sealant with RainX to all exterior windows, poorboys alloy wheel sealant applied to alloys following with a non-sling tire wall dressing. Inside was given a complementary vacuum, dusted down and light trim dressing applied that gives a matte natural look.
If this car now had a private plate, no one would know it is a 2007 reg!

New Shape 2013 Audi A4 Estate in popular Ice Silver. This came direct from a dealership in Birmingham and although very 'new', light swirl marks persisted, especially on the front bonnet. A one stage Paint Enhancement service was all that was needed to bring the shine back - exactly how it should've been!
