Great couple of weeks fishing here at Headlands Farm Fishery, and the pike are coming out nicely. Here’s Spud Judd’s nipper Archie with his 8lbs beauty and James Dear with this 9lbs (more photos please!). Also had a few out in the early teens up to 14.4lbs... but we’re yet to hear of the big ones being landed. All from our Top Lake, and try from the bench swim, near far end car park for Pike, as well as the big carp!
Our Bottom Lake is also fishing really well with some ni...ce sized perch (up to 3.6lbs out so far this autumn) and all our little restock carp (from 1-3lbs) are coming out with all the usual silvers.
£10 / day, no pre-booking necessary. 5 minutes from Junction 2 m27 10 mins from Romsey 15 mins from Southampton SO51 6BG
COME GIVE US A TRY IF YOU HAVEN’T BEFORE!

As part of our re-stock today we’ve put 14 carp into our top lake... all between 12 - 14.3 lbs. Here are a few of them! Thanks to Fishers Pond Fishery for the beautiful fish 👍.
Add that to the 200+ 1lbs carp into our bottom lake (which have been coming out beautifully!) and the 100+ into our breeding pond... we’re getting there! As always, still lots of improvements in the pipe line.
Make the most of this fantastic weather for the next week or so and come along while the sunshine lasts 🎣🌞

User

Thanks for the recommendation @Shell Millard

User

Thanks for posting @Jason Lee Millard

User

As promised this month... the first re-stock into the bottom lake: 100 one lb carp with some beautiful scale patterns. Also, another 100 tidlers into our breading pond. More coming in the following weeks. Enjoy, Headlands.

User

Thanks Mark Chiz Watts for your photos from last weekend... big common at 22.4lb big mirror at 22.6lb, and the others are between 12 and 15lb. Any more photos please send our way folks! Happy fishing, Headlands.

KIDS GO FREE! CARP RESTOCK!
Thank you to all those visiting during the summer holidays, we’re trying to keep Headlands as user friendly as possible for families with no charge to under 12’s (one rod only and with a paying adult).
... Further to that, we’ll be restocking both lakes in September with a mixture of Carp... all the funds taken over the next 2 weeks (every penny!!) will be spent on new fish. So, the better this is supported the more fish we can restock 🙂
Few recent catches attached, please keep sending in your photos.
Happy fishing all.
Headlands.

had a cracking time and caught a stunning fish

I’ve fished here for a number of years. This weekend I invited a old friend down for a weekend session, and what session. We fished the bottom lake and it was very quite and we had a great spot and the fun began. Saturday was very slow only 8 carp between us, averaging about 8 - 9 lbs but all good sport. Up early on Sunday, the sun came out to play and so did the fish, a further 12 fish again averaging 8-9lbs. So 20 for the weekend. This is such a lovely fishery and my thanks the management team for the ongoing improvements. We shall return, and thanks for a great weekend

User

Ive fished here on and off for years and never blanked. I always top my bait with a piece of artificial corn. Yellow bait always does the trick. Can trim down boillies and throw some real corn around it. Pre drilled hallibut pellet works especially well. Even had decent carp out with american jellybeans. Tight lines

Headlands is a great fishing venue and improving all the time. It has two lovely lakes with plenty of features and plenty of fish. Give it ago you like it to .

User

Great venue , loads of fish , me and the kids love it A+ thanks mikey&andy

User

Fished there last night and today in monsoon like rain and high winds.... needless to say I thought I was in for a rubbish session!! Managed to pull it out of the bag and bring in 2 perfect condition 12lb mirrors.

New clubhouse looks great and the lake is very well kept and the banks are immaculate.

Was a pleasure to fish and will be back when the weather is a little less wet.

Thanks guys 👍👍👍

User

Fished here last year and look forward to tomorrow x lovely place x

User

Fished here a few times always enjoyed and the new swims and sign in block are brilliant

User

Excellent local lake , with a great stock of fish in the waters ! looking forward to coming back down and getting on the bank this year.

User

Easy to get to and you can park behind swims on most of top lake! Most fish in good order which makes a change on a day ticket lake

User

Amazing place with an amazing enviroment cant wait to get back here :-)

User

had a cracking time and caught a stunning fish recommend to my friends

User

Fished the top lake over night with couple of friends between us we had 5 bream 2 carp during the night is a nice place but feel the could do with getting a fish count of the top lake and prehaps bring in any of the 6lb+ fish over from the bottom lake to make it more active and give the fish there more competitiin for the food...

User

Was a nice day fishing, three carp out and all gave a good scrap... On the other hand there was a lot of cut lines and actually caught a fish with a rig still attached to its mouth (bottom lip cut and damaged) I've put bonjela and lip healer on it, could do with the baliff doing regular visits and checks instead of minimal effort or contact, other than that, was a nice day fishing with a great atmosphere/environment... Does anyone know what works well up here? Thanks
