Headstart Nursery

⭐️*Remember, it’s dress up day!!*⭐️ We are having an end of term dress up day tomorrow, we are looking forward to seeing all the different types of costumes the children and staff come in!

We are having an open morning on Saturday 7th July. The nursery is open to all families who are looking for nursery places for their children. Come and meet our friendly team and see what we have to offer. We are also open for our existing parents to come in and talk to our practitioners about their child's progress. There will be a special presentation at 11.15am for parents whose children are 3 years old or will be 3 before 31st March 2019; the presentation will be about our Pre-School Learning Centre and Government funding, including the 30 hour funding. We very much look forward to seeing you on the day!

Today is Cupcake Day! To raise money for Alzheimer's Society the staff have put together a little competition for the best cupcakes! You can vote by popping some money into the pots!

Pre-Royal wedding celebrations! What a lovely day we have had celebrating! Children have been busy making crowns. The weather has been beautiful so we had a picnic lunch. all the children have loved waving Royal flags! 👰🏼

I can't believe we are at the end of another term! It may be raining outside but it certainly feels like spring has arrived with all of our lovely basket and bonnet competition entries! Here are just a few pictures.....

Today Sunbeams enjoyed there final story with Rev Sue Paterson from the Priory Church, Deeping St James. Rev Sue has been visiting us every other week for a couple of years and the upper pre-school children have enjoyed various stories and learning lots of new songs! We are all very sad to be saying goodbye to Rev Sue but wish her the best of luck with her move.

Let's get our party outfits on and be ready to dance and have fun all day on Friday 23rd March. £1 per child to be donated to Sport Relief 2018!

The winner is..... SUNBEAMS! The carrot snowman is officially our winner! The children (and staff) had a lovely time this morning. It's going to be a cold, snowy, icy week so please do take good care of yourselves on the roads. However, please do send us pictures of the fun you have had in the snow too!

My son Bobby started this September in sunbeams class preschool and he absolutely loves it. He has come on leaps and bounds with his writing and recognition of letters and the staff are absolutely lovely and welcoming. Highly recommend to anyone.

My girls loved nursery and all the fun things they do in sunbeams just wanted to say thankyou to all the staff that have looked after them

My daughter now in school loved this nursery n I couldn't fault it at all.. my son will be starting in January! :)

My daughter has been coming to Headstart for 18 months now, she loves it here, she has lots of friends and loves the staff in Rainbow room.

My 20 month old started at Headstart at the start of February and he absolutely loves it. The staff are so lovely... Happy to update you when phoning to see how they are getting on. When I came to collect my little boy on day 2, he turned to hug one of the staff, a bond established very early on. Also, a special mention to Jess head of the Little Learners room, ever so helpful and always has a smile on her face even after a long day with 15+ 2 year olds. My son always brings home something he has made during the day. Honestly I could go on, but in a nutshell I'd highly recommend this nursery to anyone, I am 100% confident in them taking care of my child and ensuring his development is on track.

I love this place but more importantly our baby does too. Whenever I walk in to greet her she is playing happily with something different. Thank you for being a home away from home. ���

I have done work experience here! I absolutely loved it! The staff are so nice, kind, lovely and helpful! Highly recommend! Your child will love it here! I would like to thank all the staff, for putting up with me. I hope I wasn't in the way or a pain, you certainly didn't make me feel that way! Before doing Work experience here I did work experience at a shop, they made me feel unwelcomed unconformtable, in the way and a nuance. Headstart Nursery made me feel welcomed, comfortable, helpful, useful, wanted and I did not feel like a nuance, Thank you for that everybody! I will certainly miss the staff and most importantly the lovely wonderful children....

HIGHLY recommend headstart Deeping. I can't thank the girls enough for there continous hardwork, enthusiasm and genuine love they have for their jobs. I currently have two children there, my son in little learners and my daughter has just started in baby room. They both love it and have settled in quickly. My son has lots of allergies and eczema and the girls have took this extremely seriously and made adjustments to snacks to ensure he is always included ☺

Couldn't rate them high enough, my step son has been going here about a year now and has changed from a toddler into a boy and is no longer the shy lad he used to be. Couldn't thank the staff enough, unfortunately today is his last day here but once again thank you to everyone especially his key worker Emily.
