Here's another easy way you can help to raise funds for Headway Cambridgeshire. If you have an old car to scrap please think about doing it though charity car and donating the scrap value to us. They will even come and collect the car for you. πŸš— #FundraisingFriday

Students Alice, Kez, Cecelia and Sam from Anglia Ruskin University Cambridge School of Art joined us today to reveal their final poster designs, as part of our National Lottery Heritage Fund project Impact! Brain Injuries and WW1.
Their fantastic posters were inspired by the research we carried out and will be on the back of Stagecoach buses in Cambridge from 24th June.
As if that wasn't enough, our film maker Derek Boyes Delfilm was also there to capture the reactions.

Check out Josie using an electric sander for the first time at The Workshop! πŸ’ͺ🏻
The Workshop is held at Care Zone in Peterborough every Wednesday. It offers a real life work environment for clients to learn new skills in making and refurbishing furniture, which is then sold or donated to low income families in the local community. #workshopwednesdays

Today's #MondayMotivation is from Maureen, one of our Independence clients, who has been reflecting on how change can be positive. She went shopping in her first session and said 'Originally I was very sad about Peterborough Hub closing, as for me I’m so used to being at Headway, I hadn’t ever thought about moving on. But now I have Headway in my house! It’s perfect.'
Our Independence Service offers 1:1 rehabilitation support at home and in the community. Call us on 01223 576550 or email info@headway-cambs.org.uk to find out more.

It was great to see our resident Understanding Brain Injury Trainer Sharon B in action today delivering our new Memory Group. If you or someone you know is struggling do get in touch with us on 01223 576550 for information, advice and support.
