Heavy Scotland is Scotland's Metal Festival.

Held on the first weekend of September every year, our festival is putting the Scottish Metal Scene on the international map. With guests flying in from over twenty countries, you know you are going to have a great time when you join our metal family.

Our historical capital city, Edinburgh, is home to our festival and creates the perfect environment for a city break before the metal party begins. Take a ghost tour or visit the Edinburgh Dungeons, walk through the historical streets and grab a late night beer in the smallest pub in Edinburgh, whatever you decide to do you will be welcomed by our friendly people.

With bands flying in from all corners of the globe as well as a large number of Scottish bands holding their own, our line up makes Scotland proud. With legends from Behemoth to Arch Enemy to Destruction blowing holes through our venue, there is little time to recover between sets.

Hailed as "the best metal weekend to grace Scotland" and "a fantastic festival with a friendly, European feel" we are proud to put our love, passion and dedication in to the event to ensure each of our guests has the ultimate metal experience.
