Here's something to keep you occupied - a livecam from a golden eagle nest site somewhere in Latvia in Europe. "Virsis, a Golden Eagle male, and Spilve, a newly-mature female, breed in their artificial nest, which was installed in 2010. Most recently the eagles successfully breed here in 2016. The nest is located in a bog on an island managed by the Latvian State Forests."

I am sure many of you, like us, are having to appreciate and enjoy the wildlife in our gardens right now even more than usual. So we wondered if you had been taking any photographs or short videos that you'd like to share with us? We will start off with a little wildlife cam video from our own Paul Sharman showing the voles that have moved into this pile of grass clippings. Post yours up in the thread below!

We were hoping to be looking out for a rare sight of orca in the Minch this year - guess that will have to wait. For now here's some great photos and information on the black and white whales from Whale and Dolphin Conservation

Our latest blog explains why we are proud to be accredited by the Wildlife Safe Scheme known as WiSe for short. A very important logo to watch out for when choosing a wildlife tour operator in the UK. Find out why below...

It's time for the second 'Tales from Grey Haven' blog from our guide Muriel who is based out on the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides near our home port of Stornoway. Her walk outside the front door takes her to a wildlife wonderland in just a few steps - read on and enjoy her photos too. If you enjoy this please do feel free to share it with your Facebook friends so they can read it too.

A quick write up of the very interesting 2020 Marine Forum in Inverness hosted by Scottish Marine Animal Strandings Scheme and Whale and Dolphin Conservation at the end of February by our lead guide Muriel Halle. We were so pleased to see so many of our friends there such as Katie Dyke Shorewatch, Janet Marshall and Steve Dodd to name just a few, and get the chance to catch up on the latest news, research findings and make some plans for potential tie-ups in the future.

A nice piece from our friend Steve Dodd for Hebridean Whale and Dolphin Trust all about Tiumpan Head Lighthouse on the Isle of Lewis - one of the best places to see whales and dolphins from land in Europe.

Those lucky Shetlanders - getting to see orca from their cars today! :-)

On our way over to Stornoway today for some meetings. Always nice to be back and to catch up with our crew. The view from the ferry right now is the mouth of Stornoway Bay just coming into sight through the misty rain.
