Countryside craft workshops woven around heavenly hedges and boasts on St. Bride's braiding. These workshops are held in places (village halls, environment centres, private gardens). We work and play with gathered natural materials (if we can we collect them from wild old droves, walls and hedges) and harness the ancient craft of forming useful ornamental vessels from these wild natural materials. It takes time together to breath and nurture a nest-like woven form and this day is a guide to the structure and process, which is a satisfying and enchanting process. Other workshop times we might make wooden jewellery, make weavings from grass types and surplus creeping plants, from your own simply spun wool, and nettles. . .

I love to encourage hands-on experience with natural materials.
I lead a variety of sessions; each is adjusted to suit the group. Available to; schools, environmental education centres, hen parties, friends, craft centres and organisations, farms diversifying, etc.
It is a time to de-stress; can be a time to be with ohers and / or a time to be with yourself. We may listen to chants, sing together and listen to stories.
We will walk about your landscape and collect relevant plants, sharing knowledge of natural medicine, other uses and ancient and reviving spiritual and physical anthropological interest with contact to the Earth.
