Trying out some new teas, particularly in line, respiratory issues. So far a firm favourite is Liquorice and Peppermint.
Liquorice is highly recommended to treat respiratory problems. It can help the body produce healthy mucus - increasing phlegm production may seem counterintuitive to a healthy bronchial system. However, the production of clean, healthy phlegm keeps the respiratory system functioning without old, sticky mucus clogging it up.

Also, as one of the ingredients in the heal all balm, it was perfect for my wee ones hands that were super sore with all hand washing with the industrial strength soap they were using at school 🌿
Here’s the fab remedy from the Myrobalan Clinic on the onion and garlic poultice for those stubborn coughs ❤️🌿

Well, mullein would be my very favourite 😁
Popular herbs such as lavender and chamomile are commonly used for their calming effects, lots of people turn to them for relief during periods of high stress. However, a lesser-known herb but with similar benefits is ashwagandha.
One of the benefits that intrigued me initially was it improves memory, cognitive functioning, mental focus, fatigue, and sleep quality. Sometimes it’s good to know that there is something out there that can shift a brain fog!
In actual human clinic...al trials, Ashwagandha root concentrates have shown protection against stress and lowered the stress hormone cortisol, reduced anxiety, lowered food cravings, improved antioxidant defences, improved thyroid, circulatory, bone marrow, and joint function and speeded muscle recovery and strengthening. The roots and leaves can be used in teas and can be used in powder form for recipes.
I’ve made mine into a tincture 🥰❤️🌿

Herbs are amazing healers for the gut and work in so many different ways. When trauma in the form of emotional abuse, violence, neglect and other stressors have impacted the gut, plants can act as mediators and keys for transformation to a healthy gut 🌿🥰❤️
