I am Strathearn Herbalist, Claire Mullan (a. k. a. Hedgerow Hippy) and i'm all about natural remedies, wild food and practical plants.
Learning about herbs and herbal medicine has been one of the most empowering experiences of my life. It started in the early 90’s with a Lomond Guide to Wild Flowers (£1 from Bargain Books) which kindled an interest in the natural world from childhood; intensified in 2005 as I immersed myself for 4 years in degree level study of Herbal Medicine (BSc First Class Honours) and continues every day as I explore new plants, new ideas, new plant adventures to have.
