We were in today for cakes and coffee. They were all amazing. Boys loved too. Such a cheery wee place too. Can’t wait to come back.

Pretty pink cafe on Rothesay front, kid friendly and with really great coffee! Every cake looked so good it took us a while to decide what to have but everything we tasted was delicious and fresh. Nice selection of juices including a lovely chilled mango, staff were kind and friendly.

Most excellent. Looks good and their produce is even better. Come early though because they sell out fast despite the staff trying to keep up with daily intense demand!

If you happen to visit Rothesay, it is a must to pop into Helmi’s bakery and pastries to try their amazing bakes! I have never had such a strawberry tart! It is beyond words! An apple pie tickles your taste buds. During my one week visit to the isle, I almost had tried everything there. It is highly recommended and they deserve a try.

I went into Helmi's today with my mum, I had the hummus sandwich and she had a cupcake with a latte, all of it was lovely and different to anything else you'd get in Bute. The staff were all lovely and the whole place was decorated beautifully.

I visited Helmi's yesterday afternoon and I was greeted by such friendly staff. It's the perfect place to relax. The coffee was excellent and the cake was absolutely delicious! I loved the cake so much, I bought some different ones to take home with me and sample. Can't wait to come back!!

Have been in a few times for takeaway cakes but today was first time sitting in. Coffee and cakes are absolutely lovely and friendly service. Looking forward to trying the birthday cake I've ordered �.

Had some savoury tarts that were just delicious, like mini-pizzas. The cakes and pastries are unbelievable, and the space is really light and airy while being cosy. Love this addition to East Princes Street.

Had an absolutely gorgeous chocolate and fresh fruit cake made for me by the tiddlers group. It was amazing. so light and really tasty. It was enjoyed by everyone and the children even got a bit. I will be in to try some more. Thank you.

Great little place with amazing service. I'm vegan and without me even asking (he overheard us talking) he came up with 3 options. I went for vegan mini pizza at 75p a steal. Made fresh and tasty. My partner had the cheese pizza and an eclair which he loved. During the time we were there the father came round with samples of brownie again my partner said it was delicious. This is a friendly family run business and we will be sure to visit every time we are on the island.

Everything about Helmi's is amazing. From the calm and welcoming atmosphere, to the delicous baked goods, low prices (meaning you can order more!) to the quick and very polite service!



I ordered eclairs and I was blown away. They were so light and airy, the best bit was the cream filling! They are absolutely my new favorites and will definetely be back for more!



I would highly recommend to everyone. Forget the diets - you all need to try Helmi's bakery!

Beautiful hand make cakes made on the premises. Cakes are deliciously moist and full of flavour. Great value too! Try the Fruit Vanilla Almond cake you can thank me later!!! Amazing find and really great customer service! We were here the first month of opening and will def be returning!!!
