GlasgowHelpingHand is a volunteer-run affordable smart prosthetic club. We are based in School of Engineering, University of Glasgow, UK but open to students from all of UofG. It is affiliated to BEST group, UofG.

Helpinghands At Uofg Description

Helping Hands Club is a new multidisciplinary initiative to unite students of different discipline to work towards realizing affordable smart prostheses by applying the skills which they are learning as a part of their university curriculum.
Helping Hands Club aims to make customizable smart prostheses by integrating electronic sensors in it, making smart prostheses affordable to disable people.
By getting involved, the students will get hands-on experience in 3D designing, 3D printing, 3D scanning, Rapid prototyping, Electronics, Programming, Networking, Communication, Leadership, Team-working skills.
We welcome all interested students of University of Glasgow, regardless of their background, to join our club and attend our programs and events. Staff can involve in mentoring students.
