The proprietor IS lovely, I agree with a previous reviewer. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Great selection of decent beers - I'm looking forward to going back for wine.

I've never thought to review a wine shop before, but Henderson's is something a bit special. There's a piano in the shop, for one. The proprietor is lovely, and very knowledgable. Dropping in for a recommendation is always a nice experience, and the shop itself is well stocked and peaceful to browse.

EXCELLENT independent wine shop.

A fantastic local wine shop selling a great range of German and craft beers too. There's something for every price range - David has bargain wines far better than any from a supermarket for pretty much the same price. If it's something more special that you're after, the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly and will definitely be able to point you in the direction of a great bottle.
