Excellent lunch easily catered for our party of ten varied menu suiting everyone's taste

Food was nice. Went there for a snack on my birthday. But the waitress was miserable as sin and made the whole experience depressing.

Not child friendly in the slightest, stopped in at lunch time for a coffee and cake with my 2 year old daughter. As I ordered for my daughter I was told that the establishment was not McDonald's. Absolutely disgusting attitude from management. Perhaps a sign on the door to warn people children are not welcome would be beneficial!!

The waitresses were lovely and clearly busy but we were left sitting for 15 minutes without a drink. We ordered steaks which came a bit too quickly for medium cooking in my opinion and I was very disappointed. They had clearly been given no time to rest after cooking and my plate was swimming in the juices so the rest of my food was soggy. The pepper sauce was tasteless and I had to go to the bar and ask for steak knives. That was my first visit and will be my last.

Great place for a coffee & cake in the afternoon as well as great food in the evening. Great service & lovely staff. Would definitely recommend.

been here year ago, and quite enjoyed it, as the place with the pond is really nice, food ok and the staff was nice and helpful. not today, though. staff very unpleasant, on the verge of rudeness. felt highly unwelcome. not planning to go there anymore.

A good stopping place for a drink, coffee, snack or more while walking along the Tweed or visiting Tweedbank Park. Five minutes from the Southern Upland Way and Borders Abbey Way.

I've always loved herges such a comfortable atmosphere, however the waitress kept telling us the kitchen shuts at 2pm thanks to the chefs for making our late lunch perfect
