... This is an excellent opportunity, with loads of great benefits. But working alongside some awesome people to run one of the most diverse clubs on campus has many other bonuses. Aside from developing core skills, you get to be part of a team that is at the forefront of all things snowsports. And it looks great on your CV.
You'll find a description of all the positions available in the event details below.
To be considered for a position you must email the club at snowsports@hw.ac.uk registering your interest in any roles within the committee (max 3) and include 3 key points that you feel you can bring to each role you're applying for.

On February 20th we're hosting a massive beer pong tournament with EUSSC - Edinburgh University Snowsports Club and NUSC - Napier University Snowsports Club at The Three Sisters - Edinburgh to see what club is the best in Edinburgh!

FREESTYLE LESSONS!
Whether you're a regular park rat or never even ventured into the park these lessons are your chance to get some extra steez while on the slopes if you're a competent skier or snowboarder.
For a block of 4 lessons at bearsden, this will cost you £50 if you're a member of snowsports and £84 if you're not.
... Lessons will be on Tuesday evenings from 8pm-10pm starting on the 12th of February and the last lesson will be on the 5th of March. Ski and board hire is included in the price. We will meet at oriam reception at 6:15pm and aim to leave at 6:30pm so we have plenty time to get there on time and get steezy. Spaces are VERY limited so get booked on ASAP.

The Watt Factor Wednesday 23rd at 8pm McSorleys Bar, 14 Forrest Rd, Edinburgh EH1 2QN £5 on the door
... Come down and cheer on Alex Limb (Freshers Captain) singing his heart out on stage. For the lucky few who saw Alex signing karaoke on the bus to Val Thorens you will know he's not shy of the mic. Hopefully all that practice will win the club the grand prize.

The annual sports ball is happening on February 22nd. And we're super excited to be going as a club!
