Hettie'S Tea Rooms

Hettie's can be compared to Betty's the finest of Yorkshire. Lovely tea, freshly made and very yummy food. I think if we had not gone in at 11.30 we would not have a table. Friendly and helpful staff. The whole feel of the place is good, clean and friendly. Has to be Pitlochry finest.

If you’re a cakeoholic this is the place for you, wonderful home made cakes, great selection of teas and coffee, friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere, pick your time though, Hetties can be very busy.

its probably good for tea , and may be got a good selection of cakes ( when we ordered their speciality it was out of stock ) also the scone was not warm. And the food is strictly okeyish nothing special at all. I would not visit this place for lunch / dinner.

Unfortunately, I was left feeling let down and disappointed by my visit today. We were seated promptly and were given the menu. But things went downhill from there. We were told that there was orange and cranberry scones on the menu. And I really wanted to try these as they sounded lovely. We then waited 10 minutes for our order to be taken. And then noticed a family of 4 who came in a good 5 minutes after us were served first. The waitress had to be reminded to take our order. When I asked for the orange and cranberry scone, they had sold out. So I just had a pot of tea as there was nothing else I fancied and had my heart set on trying these scones.

When I queried this with the waitress, she said they had sold out ages ago.

Lovely family owned business. Great scones. Wish I had had room for a slice of CAKE.

We were there just for coffee and cakes, we had carrot cake and Capuccino cake. In my opinion the capuccino one was better it really tasted like coffee, really nice. But I would change the recipe of the icing, it was too sweet, and I with that the mascarpone icing suits better to both cakes. But in general was not bad :) and people were very frienly

I've visited hetties a few times now and it ticks all the boxes! Service has always been outstanding and the food even better!

First time we came for coffee and cake which id recommend (both). If you like your tea they offer a wide selection and it looked the business (not a drinker so can't vouch for it sorry!).

They also do very filling lunches. It's a relaxed atmosphere with locals and tourists all being welcomed.
