Desperately seeking a sofa? Needing a bit of extra timber for a project? Wondering where you can get your hands on a large number of very reasonably priced plastic cups? Come down to the Leith Theatre today, we still have lots to choose from, everything must go!
The clear-up continues at Leith Theatre and the State Cinema. We'll be there all weekend so if you have a few hours spare, come give us a hand - it'll be fun! We've also got a load of sofas, armchairs and various sheets and cuts of wood, all available to good homes for a donation :)
The final day of Hidden Door 2018, as Delighters circus performers roam the Leith Theatre courtyard and roof, more spoken word, dance and film in the State Cinema, live music from Earth Wire, Nabihah Iqbal and Romare, plus a final chance to explore the 20+ art installations across both venues.

Our penultimate night sees the Leith Theatre completely full for a sell-out show by Young Fathers with support from Callum Easter and LAPS, plus more theatre, dance and spoken word over in the State Cinema.

The start of the end as our closing weekend kicks off with Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival presenting Submotion Orchestra, London Afrobeat Collective, Rebecca Vasmant and Andrew Ashong, plus Flint & Pitch in the State Cinema and lots of other theatre, dance, spoken word and music. Plus our inaugural symposium for emerging artists and the announcement of the winner of the Hidden Door Jury Prize for Film.

Highlights from day 8 at the festival, as Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival curate a jumping night of music in the Leith Theatre auditorium with Submotion Orchestra and London Afrobeat Collective, our Rave Cave opens for a party, and we see more cinema, spoken word, theatre and dance across both venues.

Lots more action at the State Cinema on Thursday with theatre and spoken word aplenty, whilst Leith Theatre witnessed a rousing live soundtracked screening of a horror classic and live music from HQFU and Makeness.

We were there on Saturday night. Such a great atmosphere and fantastic to see Leith Theatre back in action - long may it continue. Congratulations to all concerned !!
Thoroughly enjoyed Tam Dean Burn's performance of "John McPake and the Sea Beggars" - fresh and innovative use of equipment, art and enjoyed the different locations. I really got drawn into the character's world. Brilliant :-)
Thank you for a fab day. Great opportunity to meet others, fellow artists and enjoy a nice bit of Electric Culture...

If you didn't go last year, don't miss it this time around. Great acts aside, the whole site and atmosphere is a wonderful place to meet up with friends. It's really impressive how beautiful it is when it starts getting dark and the lights come on.
Hidden door are great and the venue this year, the best yet!
Hidden Door is such a gift to Edinburgh. Tonight's programme was staggeringly good- incredible value for £11! Ludens Ensemble and MidiPaul were my highlights.
And the theatre itself- what a wonderful job you have done! Thank you!
