Well today I managed to give the shop frontage a face lift with a few coats of paint. Good thing in this heat was the paint was practically dry by the time I reloaded the brush!!!!

It has come to my attention from several customers that there is a rumour going around that I am very busy and that you have to book your blazer in for braiding work. This is not true!! Yes it is a busy time but I save these couple of months for braiding. You can bring in your blazers anytime and do not need to phone in advance. Obviously the sooner you can bring them in the better, but I have always managed to get blazers in by the beginning of August finished in time for the new term. I stock braid colours for many senior schools including all Clackmannanshire ones. I have also previously done Wallace High, Kinross, Dunfermeline, Bannockburn, etc.

My ancestors are from Alva, Scotland, and I wanted to bring somethings home to remember our visit there. I was thrilled to find so many wonderful gifts there! Lynn was so patient and accommodating , given we dragged all our luggage into her wee store- sorry!

I can’t wait to return to Alva just to see what goodies Lynn has the next time.
