If you are looking for something to do this weekend you could always pop out to Bogbain Farm on the A9, just South of Inverness for their Christmas/Vintage Fair. It is looking to be a busy event spread over Saturday and Sunday with over forty stalls selling a huge array of assorted items. If you don't find something special for a family member or good friend for Christmas then you're not looking hard enough 🤔 Here's hoping we'll see you sometime over the weekend... 👍😀

Although Highland Antiques & Collectors Market is no longer organising fairs in Inverness the new event held monthly at Bogbain Farm, a few mile South of Inverness on the A9, is most definitely worth a visit. There are around twenty five stands with a fantastic selection of Antiques and Collectables on display. As you can see from the attached poster, the next event is being held this Sunday, 5th May. Entry is free and the fair runs from 10am to 4pm. Refreshments are available throughout the day and there is ample free parking adjacent to the farm buildings.

ALBA ANTIQUES stood at Bogbain Farm antiques fair yesterday, Sunday 7th April. There was a terrific attendance, with several hundred visitors throughout the day. It is so good to see a new venue open its' doors to encourage dealers, from around Scotland, to display here in the Highlands. Long may they continue to support the event as it is much needed in this part of the world. We will continue to support it 100% and look forward to the next one on 5th May. Thanks to all of the team at Bogbain for their excellent work. 🤗👍

A selection of views from our most recent event at the Kingsmills Hotel, Inverness. ALBA FAIRS would like to thank everyone involved in making this our most successful Fair so far, at this fabulous venue. We had more stall holders and our visitor numbers were up on our last two fairs. Many thanks, also, to the Hotel staff and management for their assistance in the smooth organisation of getting everything prepared. There was a steady flow of customers throughout the day with... many commens on the quality of the items available and of the location. Our next event at Kingsmills will be on SUNDAY JULY15th, when we will hopefully attract even more people as we go from strength to strength.... This Sunday, 8th April, Alba Fairs will be holding our third event at the Kingsmills Hotel, Culcabock Road, Inverness. We have a full complement of dealers standing, from around Scotland, with an extensive selection of fine quality Antiques and Collectables available to purchase. There will be a wide range of artefacts available, from Georgian to utilitarian 20th Century Furniture, Antique and Costume Jewellery & Watches, Late 18th to 20th Century Ceramics and Glassware, Anti...quarian Maps & Prints, Coins, Banknotes, Stamps, Medals, Books, Advertising Collectables inc. Whisky, Kitchanalia, Pharmaceutical and Soft drinks related items, along with hundreds of other interesting and unusual items too numerous to mention. We have several specialist dealers present and members of the public are welcome to bring items along for appraisal, or to sell, if they wish. Our dealers are friendly and knowledgeable and will be happy to advise wherever possible. If you are interested in a particular field of collecting, or just have a passing curiosity, then this is the venue for you. We are open from 10.30am to 4.00pm and entry is just £2.00 for adults. Accompanied children, under 16, are admitted free of charge. There is extensive free car parking at the Hotel and food is available in the Hotel throughout the day. We would be grateful if you would take time to like and share this post with friends and families to help promote this event, the largest Antiques and Collectors Fair in the Highlands, which is being held three times this year.
