Ethically run social enterprise based in Inverness, Scotland, producing handcrafted beds, mattresses, divans and headboards. Highland BlindCraft is a social enterprise which manufactures beds, mattresses, divans and headboards in Inverness. Founded in 1868, we have been employing individuals with disabilities for over 140 years, and are currently employing over twenty disabled staff members within our production process. As a charity organisation, we provide training and employment opportunities with the aim to enrich the lives of those with disabilities by teaching them academic and practical skills. As a result of our charitable activities, we make and sell high-quality, local and ethically handmade beds and mattresses which are sold in both our Inverness showroom and online, with a wide price range. We offer bespoke, custom-made products to meet each individuals' specific needs, and also offer commercial sales to B& Bs, hotels and lodges, with one of our most well-known clients being Skibo Castle.
