Derek joined us just coming up to one year ago as Workshop Co-ordinator. His role is to co-ordinate all the work coming into our busy service department for our technicians. This is a daily challenge with the huge demand we currently have for our NCC approved workshop and Derek does a great job trying to juggle many spinning plates!

With its eye-catching ultra-modern exterior design and contemporary, luxurious interior the Hobby Premium Van 60GF that has arrived at Highland Campervans HQ this week has won over all the team here!
We’d love to hear what you think? But before you tell us, here’s a little more about this wonderful van.
First registered in 2013 this 63 plate 60GF is a compact 3 berth motorhome based on a Renault Master chassis and with the added benefit of an automatic gearbox.
... Towards the front of the van are two forward facing seats which are fitted with belts. with a further single side facing seat next to the entrance door. With swivel driver and passenger seats there is ample space for 5 to dine in comfort at the table. Furthermore,the dining area makes up to create a single bed.
A modern kitchen comes with with 3 burner gas hob and oven below, with stainless steel sink and mixer tap. The washroom is a combined wet room with a cassette toilet and shower.
And when it is time for sleep you can nod off in the super-comfortable fixed rear double bed.
There’s plenty of storage throughout the van too in the form of lockers, drawers and cupboards as well as the huge garage below the bed.
Priced at £42,995 the van will be sold with 12 months MOT, habitation service and vehicle service. Also included will be 6 month’s road tax and 6 month’s warranty.

Jo joined Highland Campervans in March 2015 as Hospitality Co-ordinator, to over see the smooth running of our award winning hire fleet. Over the last 3 years we have grown in size from 4 to a strong fleet of 11 vans for hire so our customers can have great adventures in the Highlands as well as trying a van before making the big decision to buy.

Hobbies: I love to craft and make handmade cards and gifts in my spare time, I also like a challenge and currently training for a marathon in 2019 for charity.

Meet us Monday number 3 introduces Michael.
Followers of our page may well recognise Michael as he has been with Highland Campervans since December 2013 when he joined as General Manager. Since then he has overseen the growth and development of the business and has a superb knowledge of all things motorhome, campervan and caravan!
At the end of 2017, Michael handed over the driving seat of General Manager and became Sales Co-ordinator to concentrate on developing this side of... the business, as well as being able to take more time to look after his growing 4 year old boy.
So some fun facts about Michael.......
Favourite Food: Beef Ragu with lashings of Parmesan and a large glass of red wine!
Hobbies: Michael loves golf but doesn't get a chance to play as much having a 4 year old to occupy, although he just got a set of clubs for his birthday so time for Daddy and son training to commence! He also enjoys landscape photography, especially seascapes.
Theme Tune: Dignity by Deacon Blue - a song about a man who saves up to buy a boat to sail on the west coast. Many of our customers save up to buy a motorhome to tour the west coast!

Favourite thing about Highland Campervans: I get to combine my own enjoyment of campervans and motorhomes with my job. There aren't many jobs that offer that!

We rented a Roadscout campervan for 2 weeks. Highland Campervans were fantastically friendly and helpful throughout. It really was a pleasure to rent with them and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone else planning a trip around Scotland. The NC500 is great but there's loads more to see or do if you are inclined and the van we had was perfect for navigating small roads while being comfortable and spacious enough for two. The van we had was wonderfully maintained and very modern with lots of great features and thoughtful inclusions. The team are careful to make sure you have all of the information that you need at all stages so you never feel anxious. We loved it and can't wait to go back! Thank you so much for a wonderful trip.

We recently used the broker service to sell our caravan. The service provided was exceptionally professional and Michael ensured we fully understood the process involved. All the time and effort involved in selling our caravan was dealt with by Highland Campervans and it certainly took the stress away from us.



We were given all the details of commission and costs before we agreed to go ahead and were kept fully updated of any developments.



Our caravan was sold quickly and on completion of the sale we received payment within 24hours.



A fantastic service which we’d highly recommend, from a very professional, friendly company, with special thanks to Michael for guiding us through the process.

We hired the Autocruise rhythm motorhome for a week for our summer holiday tour of the very north of Scotland, the staff at highland campervans were very helpful even when I was freaking out waiting on hubbys new licence coming back from the dvla, dafty still hadn't changed his home address lol, anyway, the van was extremely comfortable, very economical on fuel, warm, spacious, great amount of storage areas, hubby would of packed the kitchen sink if the van hadn't had one, hubby loved driving it, we would recommend highland campervans to anyone, we have had quite a few disastrous holidays over the years and I am glad to say this one was the easiest to organize and the best by far, loved it. <3

We hired a camper for a week, excellent friendly service. Van was brilliant, high spec and well maintained. Thank-you

Recently rented the Carasuite to do the NC500. The service we received was second to none, absolutely amazing customer service and wouldn’t hesitate recommending. The journey was just spectacular and so different every day & we were so lucky with the weather. The home itself was perfect - everything we needed on wheels, Jo even gave us chairs and a table (as our were and still are locked in the roof box!)

Recently bought a campervan and thoroughly taken through how to use it. Told we could contact them about anything in their after sales care.

We took van out for first stay over last Friday. A warning light kept coming on. As we were passing we popped in. They phoned Bitz garage in Nairn who fixed the fault and we were on our way again very quickly. We then had an excellent couple of nights away.

More than happy that they will be there for us as support. So much so that we have already recommended them to neighbours thinking of changing caravan for camper van.

My daughter and I had the most fantastic holiday driving the Globestar 600L along the epically beautiful West Coast of Scotland. We had never done anything like this before with such a plush van (you won't want to give it back), so it was all new to us, but we can thoroughly recommend using Highland Campervans if you are a campervan beginner. Jo was especially lovely and helpful throughout the whole hire and handover process and she so obviously genuinely cares that her customers have the best holiday experience possible - and leave as friends, hopefully to return soon and experience some more!

For our first experience in a camper we couldn't have picked a better company. We had the best holiday around Skye, a holiday to remember.

For anyone thinking this kind of trip is not for you (for whatever prescribed reason) - think again. The wonderful sense of freedom you can get from a campervan can't be overstressed. In my opinion, the best thing about travelling in the Highlands is freedom, freedom to experience the dramatic, constantly-changing landscapes and specatuclar skies, winding roads and the profound feeling of space. I have lived up there for many years and yet I still found huge areas I'd never seen before on our four-day trip. When you have everything in the back (kitchen, bed, etc), you never feel in a rush as there is never any particular place to be so the need to explore and properly experience everything is always present. The fact that it was our honeymoon made it all the more special. We loved every minute of it.

Fantastic team. Keep you cosy as you browse with the offer of a coffee. Informative but unobtrusive. We bought our van here due mainly to the customer service we received. Had a comprehensive handover yesterday so fully expect the aftercare will be just the same. 5 � Guys ! Thank you.

As complete novice 'campervanners' we were completly won over by our week in the autocruise accent we had plenty of space and loved the freedom it gave us whilst touring round as this was also our first visit to scotland we decided to do the 'tourist' stops loch ness ben nevis loch lomand and the trossachs aviemore and back to inverness and loved it.I had pre booked campsites but we found most sites had spaces available and even tried wild camping during a thunderstorm.

Everyone at highland campers were so helpful from our earliest enquiries recommending various campsites collecting us from Inverness railway station showing us how everything worked right through to dropping us off at our hotel before our homeward journey.we knew we could contact them at anytime if we had a problem.

Hopefully we'll be back to try the north coast 500
