Highland Drones was formed with the idea to provide a Safe, Efficient and Professional service to a range of services and clients by using Unmanned Aerial System’s (UAS).
Highland Drones provide cost effective aerial methods to capture Still, HD Video and Thermal imagery along with Inspection Reports to clients in the industrial, renewable, construction, agricultural and offshore sectors. In addition, we provide photographic services such as business promotion, event coverage, estate and property imagery, travel and tourism promotion and Emergency Services Support.
Any kind of photography and video filming that a client requires, Highland Drones will use these UAS systems to deliver a high quality, competitive and professional service.

The Caithness Chamber of Commerce hosted such a great event and to be apart of it was amazing being able to network with other members and discuss their business'. It is a real testiment to the companies in North Sutherland and Caithness; building and investing in the local area.
I had the honour of meeting HRH Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay, here is a photo that was taken of us, discussing UAV's and their uses in different industries now and in the future.
HRH Prince Cha...rles also managed to spot Loch More on the footage and told of his time spent up there as a youngster fishing.

The Caithness County Show is finished for 2018 and the time and effort that went in to the planning of flight paths, emergency landing zones, announcements and strict risk assessments ensured that having drones at the show, was a massive success.
We want to thank the constant feed of people we had visiting our stall; asking about the uses of drones, asking for jobs and wanting to know the rules for using their own drones safely.
Our raffle was also drawn and the winner of o...ur 1st prize Drone Package was Lawerence 2nd prize Canvas or Print was Clyne
And too top it all off we got 4th place for best stall on the day.
A massive thank you to the Caithness Agricultural Society for the chance to attend the show and supply footage for the day, well done to all companies that attended and put on a great day and also to all those who attended the show to make it as successful as it was.
With all our procedures that we have detailed in out Ops Manual we were able to carry out each flight safely and with no risk to People, Structures or Animals, if you have any questions to how we can be apart of your event or venue and supply safe flying, please get in touch.

Captured here is the Culloden Viaduct, found just east of Inverness. It has a 29 span that crosses the Nairn River and at 1800ft, it is the longest masonry viaduct in Scotland.

Dunnet Head Lighthouse marks the most northern part of the British Mainland. It was built in 1831 by Robert Stevenson, grandfather to Robert Louis Stevenson. It stands at 66feet tall and became automated in 1989. A must stop for those traveling the @northcoast500.
