Highland Mud Kitchens Description
We were looking for a sturdy outdoor mud kitchen for our two young children however became frustrated by the lack of options in the Highlands and the extortionate delivery charges usually demanded.
Our aim at Highland Mud Kitchens is to provide great quality, solid built mud kitchens which are made to order and have a variety of customisable options. We also offer FREE LOCAL DELIVERY to the Inverness area.
It is now recognised that unstructured, outdoor play is vital for children and improves creativity, problem solving, inventiveness and sensory skills.
Mud is not only fun, it makes you happy! New research has shown that exposure to mud stimulates the immune system causing the brain to release Serotonin, the endorphin used to regulate mood. Scientists also claim that regular exposure to mud will reduce a child's vulnerability to depression.

Firstly, we want to thank all of our customers for an amazing first year of Highland Mud Kitchens! All of the positive feedback and reviews have been greatly appreciated and we have found it incredibly rewarding. We have been working on our mud kitchens pretty much non stop since we started last May and we are going to take a month off to deal with all the little things we have neglected 😂
Due to a change in our personal situation, we are going to be unable to continue to off...er made to order kitchens. We simply don’t have the same spare time that we did last year. We do however want to continue making mud kitchens and our plan is to post available kitchens on our Facebook page that can be bought on a first come basis. Our aim is to post the first mud kitchens for sale in April, so if anybody is interested then keep an eye on our Facebook page then.
We have learned a lot in our first year of building mud kitchens and we are excited to use that knowledge to create some really new and exciting designs 😄
