Terrific session in the red deer centre. Good food. And gold panning was fun. Recommended for families with young kids.

A great afternoon out. Our guide for the mountain safari was Andy who made it a very memorable trip out spotting red deer and four golden eagles while being very informative but keeping it light hearted.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Lots of things to do including: mountain top safari, forest safari, feeding the red deer and learning lots about them, bike hire and gold panning. All surrounded by stunning views!

My review refers only to the cafe, as I didn't stay long enough to experience the numerous other wonders on offer. The cake selection was good but my friend ordered the homade cookies for approx £1.95 and instead of being cookies it was a singular cookie that was quite small. Likewise the piece of fudge cake could be eaten in one bite and wasn't worth the money. Coffee was alright. Staff were polite and nice.

We did the 4x4 off road driving. The guide was like a friendly uncle teaching you. 1.5 hours was long enough to get a good taste. Make sure you are fluent in manual transmission driving before going. Book ahead.

5 stars isn't enough! Amazingly friendly and helpful staff. We got stuck in the snow so weren't able to make our booked safari, so they just put us onto the next one. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable, the area is magnificent, and the red deer experience is something else entirely. Would go back tomorrow if I could!!!
