Hillend Kennels And Cattery Description
We are a small licensed, fully insured, boarding kennels and cattery, situated between Dalgety Bay and Dunfermline.
All buildings are purpose built with central heating.
KENNEL:
Kennel buildings are brick built, fully insulated, double glazed with oil fired underfloor heating. Each kennel also has an infra red lamp for dogs that require additional heat.
Each dog has its own kennel with covered outside run. Dogs are kept inside at night. All bedding and bowls are provided. We use vetbed gold and plastic beds. You are welcome to bring your own bedding.
All dogs are exercised individually (except dogs from the same family) twice daily. We have safe walking on miles of tarmac walkways.
We carry a range of top brand name dry and tinned foods. When booking, we will ask what food your dog is fed and, if it is not a stock brand, we will purchase it for your dog's arrival. We also cater for special diets.
CATTERY:
The cattery is set away from the main kennel block and most pens have a window overlooking the garden. With having only twelve pens, the cats enjoy a small and peaceful stay with us.
The cattery is an insulated brick building with heating, plus infra red lamps over sleeping areas. Cat pens are on three levels.
We use vetbed gold bedding and plastic beds. We stock a range of top brand foods and will happily purchase the products your cat is normally fed if it is not a stock item.
SMALL PETS:
We also have boarding for small animals including rabbits, guinea pigs, parrots, rats and other small animals.
Our small pet section is situated next to our cattery. The building is brick built, insulated, double glazed and heated.
Rabbits and Guinea Pigs are kept in plastic Ferplast indoor hutches.
Feeding - We stock a range of different dry foods and fresh fruit and vegetables.
