We stayed overnight on Sunday evening. From the minute we arrived we had an excellent time. Our room wasn’t ready because we arrived at 10:15am but we were made very welcome all the same. The girl behind the bar in the Whisky Mist (unfortunately I never got her name) is a credit to the hotel. She was chatty, bubbly and a great invite to the hotel/bar. Everyone was so helpful and friendly from the Reception staff to the Housekeeping staff. The room was on the 17th Floor and it was lovely. It was comfortable, spacious, had plenty of storage space and the views across Glasgow were spectacular. We also got prosecco on arrival which was a nice touch. The bathroom was a great size too. We had dinner in Morblas Seafood & Grill. The Ribeye and Sirloin steaks were cooked to perfection. Breakfast was delicious too. We used the jacuzzi, pool, sauna and steam-room which were so refreshing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and won’t hesitate in returning.

User

Was there last night for the legends night the staff was amazing. Very friendly and most helpful a big big thank you to the lady that was on the cloakroom she saved the night by helping me with my dress which I noticed the hem had come down she took her time to help stitch it up. Thank you so much sorry forgotten her name. But thank you so much it was an amazing night and I cannot fruit the staff one bit 100% I give you all x

Usually stay at the Crowne Plaza but will be staying here from now on! Booked the Executive suite with club lounge for my wife and I. Room was large and clean. The club room was outstanding. Afternoon tea then in the evening drinks and snacks (soup, chicken kebabs and loads more!). The waitress, Nicole, was amazing. Friendly, helpful and worked really hard. Great stay from start to finish. Was surprised at some of the negative reviews on here but you can't please everyone! Will be back soon!

User

Lovely friendly staff,

Upgraded us to be on the same floor as our friends as there was a mix up at check in.

The room was spotless, lovely big beds, lovely big bathroom, great stock in the mini bar.

The bar was lovely and the staff were brilliant.

The breakfast was divine, plenty to chose from, very fresh and something there for everyone.

Couldn’t fault our stay.

User

Attended the Legends night last night and from the moment I arrived the service from the attentive staff was faultless - they couldn't do enough for us. The food was fabulous - especially the dessert!! A splendid evening. Thank you.

User

After a cancelled flight and therefore a missed holiday we decided to stay at the Hilton for a couple of nights for a break. Couldn’t fault the staff at all and Clara from reception was absolutely fantastic sympathised with our missed holiday and even sent us some complimentary beers to our room. Everything about our stay was excellent xx

User

We stayed for two nights, attending a concert in sSE hydro... hotel is excellent, spotless rooms, lovely friendly bar and reception... food great in the bar... staff couldn’t do enough... couldn’t fault anything... also a great location for the hydro, bars, cafes and main shopping areas.. would recommend this hotel

User

Nice hotel , beds were rock hard and pillows lumpy , good staff loved breakfast in the resturant and the club lounge . A bit away from City Center quick walk 2 train stations 2 trip 2 Edinburgh and Stirling castle

User

Nice hotel- thanks for upgrading me to Presidential suite.. room was nice- but for me- it was toooooo dark- I think u cd do a few things to improve customer experience- the loofah & the bedroom slippers- you should encase them either in a paper bag that we can tear- OR if you MUST use plastic - despite the earth crying out against it- then do so in a way that makes it easy for clients- eg- u could have a section that is glued to the other side- like envelopes are. This wasn’t there- so I had to jump out of my bath & find a pair of scissors- this was a mild irritation- the same for the slippers- I almost felt like you DIDNT want me to open & use these- so you could save money- room wasSO dark- I couldn’t even read Room service menu. The room is larger-but for me- I wd rather u spent less money on the huge headboard & gave me funcuion improvements- who needs a 6 foot head board?? Y not use that extra money on lighting- or improving the cases for the slippers? Apart from that- nice hotel

User

It was ok.nightmare trying to get parked up if you have a big car swing really wide on them ramp turns .room was nice but bed was very hard..booked breakfast in morning can't fault it the staff were good the breakfast was excellent..146 for a room and brekkie for 2 of us was what I expected but wasn't told about 12 quid charge for parking car and 30 quid for 2 pints and 2 proseccos..so not really value compared to some of the other 5 star hotels I stayed at in town..will probably not return here but again I can't fault the staff they were good

User

I really enjoyed the rangers legends night last night. The food was lovely, the place looked amazing and the event went well. My reason for the three star review is because at 5 months pregnant, I passed out at my table last night and it was just by luck that a nurse was at the table behind me. Not one single member of staff or security came anywhere near me and I was quite clearly unwell and in pain and I was scared to try and leave the room because of how crowded and rowdy it was. I have worked in hospitality and security at events for years and the safety of your guests should be the number one priority

User

Attended for my 4th Gay Ball on Monday and couldn’t thanks the staff for their excellent service. However, the lifts !! What an experience. Used the online check in with digital key card which doesn’t work in the lifts and this wasn’t explained at check in. Lifts/key cards broke more than they worked.

Was advised at check in we have booked breakfast rate yet the restaurant tried to charge us. Nothing reception couldn’t resolve.

Room I was in was cleaned daily over 3 days and couldn’t fault the service of the cleaning teams. Hotel rooms are a bit dated and need an upgrade match the brand

User

Totally understand the need and requirements to test emergency alarms etc but they Arranged a planned emergency evacuation for 8.45am and notified guests by a letter through the door during the early hours of the morning when they would be sleeping , guests would only would see the letter if up before 8.45am .Woken out my sleep thinking something serious had happened causing a panic attack, when I complained to reception was told to send an email online to complain ...waited 4 days for a reply and still awaiting reply to my last email! Disgusting customer service!

User

Totally disgusted with the customer service I have received. Booked the hotel for 1 night on the 15th march to travel from Newcastle to attend a funeral, the funeral date was changed to the 14th one day difference. So contacted the hotel to Amend and they where not willing to do anything unless I paid an extra. I was not happy with this so tried to cancel and the have still charged me for the room. No compassion showed from a highly rated hotel chain.

If their was a 0 rating that’s what I would of put.

User

Stayed in a executive room but a few points that the lounge was closed after 9pm so no free drinks. I left hotel to go out for the day and asked for room to be made up and returned 6 hours later to find nd not done and had to chase it getting done in all not a Hilton I would recommend but I have had far better stays at other Hilton’s

User

Stayed here at the weekend with my family! On arrival there was no parking spaces when we asked about parking they told us to park in some street in the city centre but they had already took money out our bank for parking which was £12 for 24hrs!! When we checked in the customer service was awful the lady was rude and didn’t make any eye contact with me or my partner! We got to our room it was really dated and cold! We tried to get the sofa bed pulled out for our young kids to find it was ripped and broken so they slept with us all weekend! There was a ball on the Friday night we were made to feel so unwelcome because we didn’t have a fancy dress or suit on nothing but looks from staff and other guests! The maids had been in and fresher up our room but the following night after baths we had to reuse our wet towels because there was no dry/clean towels after they cleaned our room!!! The day of check out the Hilton decided to take a further £240 from our bank even though the room was pre paid after my partner telling the rude woman at reception she argued back with him insisting it was right! After 24hrs we get out money back!! Definitely the worst hotel I have stayed in for the money we paid we 100% excepted more!

User

I have no idea how you guys are still in business. I stayed at your hotel and there was no running water for 8 hrs. When I and atleast 20 other people talked to the reception about this, all we got back was it is what it is and there is nothing we can do.

User

Event tonight with the Celtic Legends was over booked. Although it was organised by Alliance Event Management, the duty manager has tried to squeeze my two guests into an already full table.....after the meal and the introductions have been missed. No real effort to try and look after the seriously disappointed guests. Really poor customer service.
