Can't thank these guys enough. Very knowledgable, honest and tell you exactly what you need to hear, not want to hear. I've learnt lots from them and as a result my performance has improved!

Been there for a headset screw. But the bearings were also rusty. I ask if they have bearings, to check they say they have to see them, so they took my bike and start to lay down the fork, although I said I could do it. But they didn't listen to me (I built the bike so I know what I did on it), so they couldn' take out the fork to check/change the bearings. After 5 mins hammering on the fork, I suggested to just put grease on the bearings. What they did. I finally asked how much should I pay, been answered £7.5 (2.5 for the screw which I agree, plus 5 for the "special grease" and for labor...) Finally paid £5 but anyway, I won't come back and I don't recommend this shop.

The bottom bracket of my singlespeed got destroyed by wear and tear from a year of almost daily commute. Had it replaced in the same day, in my presence despite breaking a spanner😂
I promise, it was crazy hard work but John from Holburn cycles did it all with a smile.
From little chats about bike care with Steven and big ones like full servicing, these guys here have my respect for their care and knowledge of bikes. And unlike a few others I've been to in Aberdeen, they actually care about the rider as well.
It really does show in how well they'd treat your bike to save you the worry of being parted from your bike for long.
They do it in good time which is a plus for me as I depend on it for my day to day transport.

Went to Holburn cycles to get a professional pedal fit for my new De Rosa super king, which was also built to a highly professional level on their premises. I was taken through the process quickly and had every part explained to me as we went along. This process has improved my efficiency on the bike considerably.
I can't recommend the shop and especially the staff high enough. I will use Holburn cycles over any other shop even for the smallest job.
All my bikes have benefited from the service I've received here.
