- SAVE THE DATE - I worked closely with bride to be Rachel to create exactly what she and Mark wanted from their Save the Date cards. Through our emails, we established that we wanted a classic and elegant design, showcasing the beauty of the Florence skyline in tones of rosy pink and olive green. - DESTINATION WEDDING - Sometimes, being pushed out of your comfort zone can give a whole new lease of life to your work. Creating these Florence themed Save the Date cards for Rachel and Mark was something entirely new design-wise for me, and it was a wonderful breath of fresh air! Who wouldn’t want to be in sunny Florence right now? - H x

- MENUS - Menus for the wedding breakfast are usually sent out with the invitations, in order to establish everyone’s choices for on the day. However, having a reminder menu as part of the table decor is a lovely way of reminding your guests of what is on offer, as well as tying in your “on the day” elements together visually. - THROWBACK - Looking back to our own wedding in the sweetest little chapel on Belladrum estate in the Scottish highlands, two years ago! (WOAH.) Christopher and I kept things simple with a heavy nod to our favourite sixties style, and details from some amazing Highland suppliers. We then headed back to the incredible log cabins at Eagle Brae to celebrate with our nearest and dearest. Surrounded by wild stags, stars, and tequila. Congratulations to Carrie and Matthew, who recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary! For their wedding, Carrie had commissioned a set of custom table names featuring a portrait of themselves in their wedding gear with their beloved pooch, at the top of a hill.
