Wow wow wow!! Fantastic Scottish food and wonderful staff! Leo was our waiter and he was absolutely wonderful. High class food and high class staff. Highly recommended!

User

What a fabulous place! Thoroughly recommended, staff were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Food was good and portions were big enough to let us sneak a treat for our two dogs. Breakfast was great, from full Scottish, fruit, cereals, yoghurts and Smoked Salmon with scrambled eggs as a choice.... We will definitely go back, it was very relaxing and a great place to go exploring from, with Glencoe a short drive in one direction, Oban in the other and plenty local landmarks around as well. There's also a great walk and cycle path close by, oh and the loch view from our room was great. The room was warm throughout, which really added to that relaxing feel.

User

We visited as a family for a swim and lunch, having cycled there along cycle route from our holiday base in Glencoe. The swimming pool was a little gem. Lunch was extremely tasty; scallops thermidor as a treat for me, delicious chowder for the other half and good quality kids meal options. Washed down with local craft ale and a couple of Scottish gins and tonic A liitle play on the pier and beach afterwards before the cycle home. We hope to be back at The Holly Tree.

We are from Czech republic and we were at your hotel for one night. I must say we enjoyed every moment. The room was absolutely awesome, clean and smelled like rising flowers. The view from the window was stunning :) Thanks all the team for their professionality. We appreciate every single person in the hotel because we could see the hard work. Especially dinner was unforgetable and the chef is big master for us. I have never eaten anything so delicious. Last but not least we would like to thanks Sami, Adam and Donald, they were always nice and smiling all the time. It was pleasure to meet them and I hope we were not there for last time.

User

The area is beautiful, the restaurant looked fantastic (I didn't eat there, but the staff seemed to! - always a good sign), and the pool and sauna were wonderful too. I could have sat on that balcony for days.

The views are spectacular, as the photos show. I am definitely coming back, though this time I'll definitely visit the restaurant!

User

Stunning location, fantastic accommodation and warm, welcoming and helpful staff.

We travelled up to the Highlands from Cornwall and arrived an hour or so early. The receptionist welcomed us in and invited us to wait in the bar/restaurant area, until our lodge was ready. She even brought us a jug of water and crayons and colouring books for our daughters. We stayed in one of the waterfront lodges, which was lovely and warm on our arrival. It was like a home from home. Beautifully furnished and clean. it was nice to find tea, coffee, sugar, washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs, tea towels all supplied. We had a balcony area overlooking the water and with beautiful views that changed with the weather. We enjoyed using the swimming pool, which was warm, very clean, with hot showers, changing rooms and locker facilities. We like to give credit, where it is due, and this place really deserves our 5 star review. We will definitely be returning.

We’ve just arrived home after spending 7 nights in lodge 2 at hollytree. We’ve had a fabulous time, fabulous weather (30+degrees every day)

We’ve been rockpooling, segwaying up the road at glencoe activities golf course (highly recommended!!!) lots of day trips as the location is literally a 30 mins drive to Oban where as we did we caught the ferry to mull.

I’d love to give this place 5 stars but unfortunately I can’t due to the tiredness of the lodges. They are in DIRE need of an update. Shabby furniture, and a lick of paint is all it needs to freshen it up! We are aware that you are in the middle of constructing new lodges and plan to launch them all together so understand that’s why no money isn’t being put back into old lodges.

My only complaint really is the tv which often pixelated and became unwatchable and the WiFi which basically we didn’t have for the first 5 days of our stay although the guy did come around to inform us their was a problem. Other than that I can’t fault the place. The linen was immaculate, the kitchen brilliantly equipped. Washer/dryer and dishwasher which was a bonus!!

The service was fab, the food beautiful in the captains bar and restaurant. Oysters, salmon to die for!!

It’s also pet friendly which is brilliant.

We will definitely be back. Well done guys and thank you for having us for a week x

Was there for dinner. The food was absolutely delicious. Fantastic views of the Loch. Very relaxing, cosy bar.

User

Good food, beautiful view, friendly staff. Not tried the pool yet but hope to. Staying in a rental cottage in Kentallan, the only place to eat and drink out locally, but not disappointed. Hearty, freshly cooked food, good portions and great drinks menu. Nice coffee too. Have been twice and plan a return trip.

User

Dissapointed today. Served with cold soup.. and returned again cold after reheating.. muscles with a strange taste.. and £16 in soft drinks most of that was soda water. Very highly overpriced and disappointing to say the least.. a firm faborite that we will not return to unfortunatly
