Milky, Maternal and Majestic

I run a flock of pedigree Zwartbles, alongside my fathers flock of texels, continentals and his beef stores, on a hill farm ranging up to 1000ft above sea level on the edge of the Lake District.
The zwartbles flock consists of around 20 quality breeding ewes, plus a couple of replacement gimmers.
I have owned pure bred Zwartbles since the age of 5, and established my pedigree flock in 2017.
I have shown at Selside and Grayrigg show since 2011, gaining first and second placed ewes during this time. I also managed to gain reserve champion in 2016 and 2017. In 2017, I competed at the Westmorland county agricultural show, where I received first for my aged ram, second and third for 2 of my breeding ewes, and fourth with my shearing ram.
The flock consists of purchased ewes from Hedgeholme Zwartbles (00937), Selside Zwartbles (00286), Drysdale Zwartbles (00653), Pistyll Zwartbles (00054) and a Glenfield Zwartbles (00566) stock ram, along with breeding and keeping a couple of glimmers each year.
I produce breeding gimmers and 2-3 tup lambs to sell each year.
