Due to the success of our children's table tennis coaching sessions with Colette Martin, our new series of table tennis for children aged 8 to 12 years start this coming Wednesday at 3.30pm and will continue each week throughout the summer. Collect of the Day O Lord, you always guide your people whom you build up on the foundation of your love: make us ever stand in awe of your Holy Name,... and love you in equal measure; through Jesus Christ, our Lord, who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, world without end.
God most holy, we give you thanks for bringing us out of the shadow of night into the light of morning; and we ask you for the joy of spending this day in your service, so that when evening comes, we may once more give you thanks, through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord. Amen

A very big thank you to Mr Allan Kirkwood Volunteer Development Manager for Diabetes Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 for coming to our Mothers' Union branch meeting this evening to talk about the extensive work being done to care for those with Diabetes in Scotland . The organisation as well as providing support for those with Diabetes to live well, also petition for improved services at governmental level and by raising awareness of needs with Healthcare managers and providing money for research. No government funds are received to support the organisation which was established in 1934, it relies entirely on public donations to be able to provide their services.

Happy 80th birthdays to May and John on Tuesday. Good to celebrate together today at Holy Trinity with church congregation with a lovely cake thanks to Hazel and Helen O'Hara.

Despite significant progress being made with the new access to Holy Trinity church project this week. Please continue to access the church building via the hallway at the back of the building as safety rails are still to be installed before the new access facility may be used. .
