Holyrood Architectural Salvage

Another top class restoration by our main man Kev. This fireplace originally came from the Assembly Rooms in Leith (c.a. 1800), and has sat broken in a basement since the 1980's.
After many many hours in the workshop it's finally ready to be used again! :)

Stunning stained glass window just in, more details to follow

I know it's still August, but this weather is horrible! Time to get the stove fired up 🔥🔥🔥

Didn't expect the response we would get from yesterdays post, apologies if you sent a message and never heard back. There's still about 10 doors left, and we've also added a mantel, insert, breakfast bar top, pew ends and backs, panelling, shutters, etc - picture below was taken this afternoon. This is a first come first serve kinda thing, the stuff is unsecured outside under out stairs so you don't need to come when we're open.
Look forward to seeing some pics of whatever treehouses etc you make, prize for the most creative upcycling project!

FREE DOORS!
We have a stack of 15-20 doors which aren't good enough to sell, but we'd rather not scrap or burn them if they can be used. Most are nice thick 50mm pine doors that have been rejected due to missing moldings, warping, mild rot, or other damage.
We thought they might be useful for an allotment shed, sumerhouse, or even upcycled decor as shown here.

We happened to have an original and reproduction of the same design in the workshop, the difference is amazing! Just shows why originals are so much better than repros :)

Polishing complete! Picture doesn't do it justice, it's a real stunner

Any Art Nouveau fans here? Halfway through polishing this beauty, time consuming but worth it!

Open as usual this Bank Holiday, Mon - Sat 9 - 5. No Easter Eggs, but we do have some cracking stock in at the minute!
