Home-Start Deeside, Alford and Strathdon offers support, friendship and practical help to parents with at least one child under the age of five living in the local community.

Our Banchory office is open Monday to Thursday, 8am-3. 30pm.

Home-Start Deeside, Alford and Strathdon offers support, friendship and practical help to parents with young children living in the local community.

We offer a unique service, recruiting and training volunteers – who have experience of childcare - to visit families with at least one child under five at home to offer informal, friendly and confidential support.

To help give children the best possible start in life, we support parents as they grow in confidence, strengthen and enjoy their relationships with their children and widen their links with the local community.
